Lauren Muir is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in both the medical and aesthetic fields. Her passion for medicine began at a young age after her younger brother was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, an experience that shaped her desire to care for others during vulnerable moments.

Lauren began her career at Primary Children’s Medical Center and Intermountain Medical Center, where she gained extensive clinical experience. During this time, she also navigated her own struggles with hormone imbalances, experiencing fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, hair loss, and anxiety. Despite seeking help, she was often told her labs were “normal” and her symptoms were dismissed. These challenges ultimately led to multiple second trimester miscarriages.

After finally receiving individualized, hormone focused care, Lauren went on to have three healthy children. This experience profoundly shaped her approach to medicine and ignited her passion for integrative and functional care. She believes strongly in treating people, not just lab values or test results.

Lauren earned her Master’s degree from Simmons University and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. She later pursued advanced training in medical aesthetics, working alongside facial plastic surgeons and developing a deep understanding of facial anatomy, safety, and natural looking results.

Today, Lauren leads Thrive Aesthetics & Wellness as a nurse practitioner led practice focused on integrative wellness, hormone optimization, weight management, and advanced aesthetic care. Her goal is to help patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to truly thrive.
